Preliminary Meeting

Our 1-hour Preliminary Meeting is for us to get to know each other! We can meet in person at our office or on your building site, or virtually over the phone or on Zoom.

WHAT TO BRING TO OUR FIRST MEETING

Technical: Existing Conditions Documentation

  • Your Deed, CCRs (If HOA)

  • A Survey and any other site information you have

  • Any existing conditions drawings you have (floor plans, etc.)

  • Photos of your site (unless we are meeting there)

  • Any other relevant info you think we should know

Personal: What You Want and Need!

  • Think about your Desired Spaces (Rooms, Outdoor areas, etc.) and desired square footages if known

  • Adjacencies

  • Desired Aesthetic or Style and Materials

  • Special Requests or Needs

  • Photos of Spaces you like! (Houzz/Pinterest, Magazines, Photos of your friend’s house, etc.)

  • Budget

  • Expected Schedule

  • We work with clients who are seasoned building veterans as well as clients who are building or renovating for the first time in their lives. We welcome all questions and are here to help clarify anything.

 

Our meeting will help us determine whether your project is a good fit for Henry Architects, and will hopefully help you determine if you want to work with us.
